I enjoyed this book:
I looked at a number of books similar to this one, but I elected this book as it appealed to me when I read some snippets. I'm glad I did. I really like the style that is like having a discussion with the author. I recommend this book.
Writing Instruction for the Especially Uninformed:
Henriette Anne Klauser wants the reader to believe a lot of things: she promises to make you a better, more successful, more prolific writer. But does she offer anything new or different? Telling people to quiet the critical, editing voice to allow greater creativity, a major focus of her book, is nothing new. I ended up feeling insulted and resentful, as though her book could only benefit someone very naive.
