PR Review:
This book is good for getting tips on internet marketing. I was expecting a little more from the book like how to promote with letters, telephone conversations or person to person. However, this book gives good tips on how to identify your audience and how to use the proper word usage to get the coverage that you're looking for.
Book needs to be formatted for Kindle...:
I find it inconceivable that the author didn't take the time to ensure his table of contents was "clickable," instead of the block chart, or graphic, that it currently is. if this book were a novel, then I would expct to read cover to cover. But, when something is billed as a toolkit, then I expect a flexible yet reliable user experience, one that is currently lacking in this product.
Definitely a good toolkit:
I just started reading this book and currently only on pg 45. The amount of useful information it gave me so far feels like I spent half a semester in class. To be honest, the book is a bit out of date with its sources and WebPages it refers to. But, don't let this fool you, it's still a good read for anyone who is in the beginning stages of their PR careers trying to learn useful media relations techniques necessary for success within the industry.
Lots of Tools Here:
Breakenridge gives numerous, solid tips that any PR practitioner should have at his or her disposal. This is a useful primer.
