One of the classics of literature:

I read the book in 7th greade, but didn't know what a [...] house was. I read it again, just because I remembered how fun it was to read the beautiful way Steinbeck captures street talk. What I appreciate about the book as an adult is that Lenie, the mentally retarded character, was not able to rationalize at the begining of the book and Steinbeck made no indication that he could.
