Parallel Bible is Awesome:
I thought this book would be helpful for Bible College and it has been. During reading in class I can follow each person no matter which translation they have. While studying it is nice to simply look across the page and see the other translations and how they handle a passage. It is not the Bible I read every day but it is one I use everyday.
Too heavy:
I am a bit of a small girl and I bought this bible because I wanted to compare the different versions when I am studying the word. I also take it to church on Sunday and I find that I feel like I'm carry a load. It is way too heavy for me to carry around. For this reason I am buying a smaller bible with only one translation and will use this one for studying at home. As far as comparing the different translations, it's great.
Awesome!:
This is the best bible I've ever had! It conveniently gives all 4 versions on the same pages to make study time a breeze. I loved it so much that I gave one to my brother who is a recently graduated seminary student and an ordained minister to help him in his sermons and bible study classes. So great!
