Law Student Must Have:
All law students must have a legal dictionary for law school. This dictionary had almost everything I looked up for school in it. If you do not get this book, at least get the pocket version!
Indispensible, but . . .:
I bought this thinking that since I needed a law dictionary, I might as well have the best. I don't recommend buying this version with the slipcase. I rarely put the dictionary in the slipcase because it is a pain to take the dictionary in and out. It's attractive, but mostly it just looks pretty on my shelf. If I were to buy a dictionary again, I would not buy the slipcase.
Black's:
This is a must have for anyone who wants to know what those pesky legal terms mean, especially the Latin ones! Black's is the ultimate basic law reference book. There is nothing like a good hard cover copy of a timeless reference. An absolute requirement for law students, start building your library for practice folks.
