Public Relations Writing and Media Techniques (5th Edition)THey never sent me the text book i purchased and paid for. They sent me a tracking number, I tracked it and it was sent to someone in Kentuky. I live in DC and when I contacted the seller, they never responded. This company is HORRIFIC!!!
Good read:
I bought this book for a grad class I was taking and found that I learned more from reading the book than from the class! I actually have it sitting by my desk at work since it's an easy reference to various "rules" within PR.

While the book does a good job by touching on many -- if not all -- aspects of public relations writing, it does so quite blandly, ignoring how to truly become a good writer. I found the book to be boring, the chapter on theory to be out of place, and most of the content hardly groundbreaking. Yes, public relations writing has a certain style, but there are much better books on writing (i.e. nonfiction writing) you could go with if you're simply interested in becoming a better, stronger writer (try authors... more info
