I'm a Dummy at the First Try:
My 8th edition just arrived which I ordered because my new XP from Dell arrived with WordPerfect 11, and it was overwhelming. I started at the beginning by trying to follow the directions to create an icon. Page 8, jumpstarting WordPerfect's directions were not working. Why it said to right-click the WordPerfect Office 11 option when I wanted WordPerfect is beyond me, but I followed the directions. The pop-up menu appeared, displaying this list of commands: technical support clipbook
This is the book you want if you've never used WordPerfect before. It covers all the basics and then some. I recommend it to anyone who is new to WordPerfect.
