I'm using this book to teach the subject to high school seniors. It is my favorite among many books on the subject. G. Woods has written a clever, clear, and complete book on a subject that can be dry, frustrating, and complex. I've encouraged my students to get their own copy and take it with them to college.

Great, this is very helpful for my College Course; it is a refresher for me
the book is ok:
the book gives great information, but no solid examples for you to go by. it's a great read, but I learn better from seeing what what I am reading. I owuld not buy this book again.
A Formula That Works!:
Research Papers for Dummies could easily be called "Recipes for Research" because the same process is followed in every research production. You really can't find a simpler guide on the market that does justice to the important business of writing effective and intelligible research papers.
