Awesome book!:
Took this book on a flight over to Belgium and could not put it down! You can share in this poor guys misery and picture his plight as though you were there with him. A great read, that makes you want to stay on dry land.

Gripping, interesting, a bit spiritual.:
Imagine your luxurious life of amateur sea-captain becomes a fight for survival and a genuine reliance on nature to provide sustainance. A really quick read, gripping at times. A true story.

Redundant - day after day the same thing, sometimes told once by Maurice and a second time by Maralyn. I know it was a harrowing experience, I just wish I could have FELT it more
