Please note the year this book came out...:
This book was decent, and I learned several things I did not already know. I'm definitely glad I read it. Plus, it was a very quick read. But please note something that I did not before purchase: it was written over a decade ago, when computers were just becoming truly popular. It recommends you purchase an electric typewriter. So a few things are outdated, but it is a good book.
Not What I Was Expecting:
This book was just alright. I wasn't totally impressed with it. One thing I found out about books like this is the information becomes out dated very quickly.
disappointed:
I was disappointed in the lack of helpful pertintant information in this book. It seemed to be geared to someone(a child perhaps) that didn't know to "gather pencils and paper to write"
I can honestly say I found NOTHING helpful in this little book to help me on my journey toward writing for greeting card cmpanies.
An Interesting Potential Market:
Now here's something you may not have considered writing ... greeting card messages. Just pause to think for a moment how many cards there are in gift shops, newsagencies, department stores etc. Squillions of 'em ... and someone has to write all the verses in them! Why not you?
