More Helpful for Non-fiction:
This book caters more to non-fiction. I still found some great ideas to promote my novel, Heaven Scent, and I think it's a valuable book for anyone who is promoting/marketing a book.

Save your money & avoid this one. Dan Poynter's books are much better and have tons of ideas for the self-publisher. This was more of a leaflet than a book, and most of the information was not useful, extremely broad and amateurish (ie, 'Try promoting through the internet!'). It didn't give specific rescources, websites, media outlets, etc. You can find much better info online or through other books.
