New edition:
A revised edition of this text has been available for more than five years. The Radical Write is the most popular writing text used by high school journalists in the nation. Why this old edition remains available here is a mystery. Nostaligia buffs might want to purchase this first edition, and it's worth every bit of the $2.04 that's being asked for it, but if you want the latest expanded edition, go to the Journalism Education Association bookstore or to the book's publisher, Jostens, Inc.
Inspiring Book for Newspaper Students:
This book takes a fun and creative approach to newspaper writing. It is great for beginners, but also has some good tips for the more experienced student writer.
You have to overlook the typos -- who WAS the copy editor on this book, anyway? -- but the information inside is great.
