Good Book If You Are Trying To Sell To Book Stores:
I have self-published over thirty books now, and I have read most of the titles in this specific genre. This book is a great resource for information sources that will help you market your book. The only complaint I have is that it focused much more on selling books to bookstores, when online selling is really beginning to dominate the self-publishing industry. Marketing can be complicated unless you have this book:
Marketing can be anything but simple until you understand the basic concepts. From test marketing to book sales this book has great information. Mark Ortman takes you through the entire process and gives great resources for each section along the way. This is the first book I read on marketing and still reference material from this book.

Concise information, well stated:
I'm currently working on two ideas for non-fiction books. One is about current use (and mis-use) of English, the other a book of quotations. I found this book to be very helpful. I liked that it put things in as concise a manner as possible, getting directly to the point. I'd recommend it to anyone who's into publishing, self-publishing or marketing of a book.
