Not that great:

For the price, this book was not that great. I read it quickly and was dissapointed by the lack of information. Although it gave an overview of how to go about writing and publishing, it did not go into depth. If you are working on your first book, this is not the book to help you. I would buy a different book!

I didn't realize that this book was a small 38 page book. Even though it has an ISBN number....it looks like someone printed it out from their computer and stapled it together. There are a few good points listed in the book....but I think it should have been a little longer....or at least each subject discussed should of had a little more detail.

Great for teaching other students and distilling the big picture:

I teach writing and publishing workshops, and this book is a great low-cost addition to offer my students. The author has done a lot of work to supply vital information, including addresses needed in the writing and publishing industry, and to condense the enormous, almost overwhelming amounts of information out there down to the distilled basics.
