Great Book:
This is a superb book written by "the" expert in the field about self-publishing. After reading the book, I had many conversations with the author and he is extremely knowledgable. Best resource out there (I have purchased several books in the field, and this is by far the best.)
Excellent resource:
Being a novice writer, I had started the process of interviewing the various self-publishers, and one of them recommended this book. The book saved me dozens of hours. It is very well laid out and does a wonderful job of comparing the publishers. Well done!
Very helpful in getting me started:
After consulting several books on my way to publishing, I found The Fine Print of Self-Publishing by Mark Levine very helpful. He provides a detailed description of a company's services. He discusses the companies in categories from "Outstanding" to "Avoid". This I found very useful in narrowing down my choices of self-publishing companies and the kind of contract and services best for me.
