Not the Best Book for its Price:
This book does contain a lot of the basics, and it does draw on a lot of the author's personal experiences, so it may be of use to new freelance writers. However, while this book gives a good overview, it's a short read without a lot of specifically helpful information. For a list price of $19.95, I expected more. If you want to spend $20 on a book, I'd more highly recommend "Freelancing for Dummies," "The Well-Fed Writer," or "Make a Real Living as a
Freelance Writer," and all of which are available... more info
Very basic:
This book is a short read that really works more as an overview. I gave it 3 stars because there isn't the wealth of details like you'll find in books like "The Well-Fed Writer," "How to Start a Home-Based Writing Business," "Freelancing for Dummies," "Make a Real Living as a Freelance Writer," etc. With so many books out there that offer more info for the same price, I just can't recommend this one.
