In How to Get Ideas, Jack Foster draws on three decades of experience as an advertising writer and creative director to take the mystery and anxiety out of getting ideas. Describing eight ways to condition your mind to produce ideas and five subsequent steps for creating and implementing ideas on command, he makes it easy, fun, and understandable.

A keeper.:
I can't believe I didn't write a review on this book before. I first read a translated version in my native language; then I immediately bought the second edition when I came to the US. As a student, I moved out 5 times, dragging myself through 3 cities but I still keep it. I sold most of my textbooks and self-help stuff but this one. It's fun, inspiring and very helpful.
Great:
I got this book for just a few dollars, the school books store was charging A LOT more. It got to my house within 3 days and it is brand new.

Reading "How to Get Ideas" will help you unlock at least a portion of the rest. It is at once a very easy read, filled with funny anecdotes, and also a serious primer on how to foster creative thinking. Read it now and then read it again every few months. Your ideas will thank you.
Simply The best:
All I can say that this is a very useful book, I read it 3 times and i would love to read it again.
It is easy to read, the chapters are well organized, and you will enjoy every single page.
It helped me a lot in my Career (working as a Creative Director), and in my life.
