0 stars - never received book - not sure about money back- was not offered to be sent a new book - very unhappy:
I ordered this book and never received it. I contacted the company via email they told me the book was mailed, but never gave me any tracking information. Asked me to wait until deadline of 3-02-10, which I did and still did not receive book. I sent another email and was told book had been mailed, not sure why I didn't receive, blamed it on the post office, still offered no tracking info. Sent me an email days later saying Amazon would credit my account. Never explained why they could not send another book.... more info

This book by Jan Venolia offers easily understood examples and an index that makes finding the proper topic more simple. Too many technical books make it hard to find the right topic. This book references common problems by the words that are frequently misused. Good reference:
I keep this book on my desk for easy reference. Many times people have questions that can be found here in a jiffy. The basics are usually what trip people up. The book contains proper usage of often times miss-used words. Like "further and farther", "lie and lay" as well as verb tense and agreement. I recommend it for anyone who wants to use good grammer.
