Nice Item, but quality could be better:

Plate was much more lightweight than expected (light, almost like aluminum), engraving was off-center, and several small burrs were on its edge. Also, only version of this plate (that I found at the time of ordering) has a doll propped up against the table, but no options for boys (not that dolls for boys are bad, but...). I did buy this as a gift and had it shipped directly to my friend. After seeing it at her house, I wish I had had it shipped to me first, so I could see it (and fix things) before giving... more info

We received this as a gift for our first child. It is absolutely beautiful. This is something that we keep in our daughters room up on a shelf as decoration. The craftsmanship on this piece is outstanding. It has all of her vitals as they state, her name and so forth. This is something that she can have forever when the time comes. We are now expecting our second and I hope that someone give this as a gift again and if not we will be purchasing it ourself. It is very unique and not something that you see... more info
