My opinion as a proffesional graphic designer is that illustrator mantained his elegant interface and profesionalism. You have much more control in illsutrator than in any other vector graphics program created + it is easy
and user friendly. I didn't come with any crash on illustrator cs even on my old pc witch is an celeron at 2 Ghz with 256 MB ram and 64Ram video card . Actualy it is working perfect even if i have to make an vectorization for an jpg tiff at hy resolution in mesh or the pen tool.... more info
CS BITES!..................:
CS is a piece of crap! Why can't they leave well enough alone? I'm 40 years old and I've been using Illustrator since version ONE in '87 and I'm at the end of my rope. This is the buggiest version since v7! I'm sick to death of Adobe (as well as others) constantly making changes for change sake while introducing new bugs and not fixing the old ones. Existing Illustrator Users Beware!:
I've been using and enjoying Illustrator for years. Version 10 had some serious color management/PMS color table problems. Adobe's v10 patch and recommended bug fix never quite worked properly, so I decided to upgrade when the new Creative Suite became available. It's a disaster so far! Nowhere in the pre-sales documentation did the marketing team at Adobe happen to mention that the new text engine in the CS version will completely wreck all of the text in your existing Illustrator documents! too darn buggy:
I'm normally a big fan of Illustrator, but this new version is much more trouble than it's worth. It doesn't seem like you get all that much more than illustrator 10, and the cost is huge. My biggest pet peeves: 1) stability - the single most important problem with this program. Where Illustrator 10 was a workhorse, you need to make it a habit to save frequently with Illustrator 11.
