Total waste of time:
The pronunciation part is good, but you have to look through a list of 800+ phrases each time you want to say something. The list opens up into a large unwieldy piece of paper. I'm returning mine.

Not worth 1/2 the price...:
I took this on a 3-week trip to a Spanish speaking country and found it to be absolutely useless. Not only did it freeze up on occasion requiring the batteries to be removed and reset before it would turn on again... and then all settings reset as well - but it was not useful as an aid for even basic communications. Maybe you like to use preset phrases that don't apply to the actual questions or statements that you are trying to use - I don't. If you do, this may work for you. Language at Your Fingertips:
It was amazing that a non-technical person could enjoy this product right out of the box. Found it easy to follow directions and program everything we needed and set it on the desired foreign language to use on our trip. Would recommend to anyone with a desire to "see the world" and has limited foreign language abilities!
