I love SnagIt. I work as a systems analysis for a healthcare organization. I am constantly teaching users software and troubleshooting issues. A picture (or video) is worth a thousand words. I have used SnagIt since version 7 and initially I was not going to purchase this version because I did not think that there was enough useful new functionality to make it worth my while. Great Tool:
Years ago I used a much older version of SnagIt - but a recent writing assignment required capturing quite a few images for a magazine article. I have to say that this is an exceptional tool - highly recommended.
Outstanding Product:
I have only used SnagIt for presentations but I would rate it as a must have for students, engineers and program managers or anyone else who has to create professional looking presentations rapidly from a multitude of sources (e.g. websites, terminal windows, graphics anything you can see on the screen )
Darn Pretty... Darn Slow:
I so wanted to love the new Snagit
8 was great... took a bit of tweaking but best of the bunch.
9 not so great... beautiful new look but so slow I can eat
my lunch before a screen capture pops up. Hopefully a few updates will help this product really shine.
