Great Display:
My 86 year old mother has a huge collection of framed family photos and has never had a place to display more than a few at a time. SMom had the photos packed in boxes and if she was ever going to spend time with the subjects in the pictures, it had to be soon. I looked at many bookcases before deciding on this one. terrrific value for the money:
Sturdy and stylish, with fairly lucid directions for assembly. It's not fine furniture, but it's several steps above IKEA and a good choice for home office or studio.
The unit is not solid black as pictured--it's got a rubbed finish with some touches of deep red showing through on the edge, quite nice.
fantastic book case:
The book case fit compactly in the corner of the kitchen w/o looking over towering. The shelves are deep; the style and finish isn't cheap looking, and construction solid. A great buy.
